ESN Lands $8.8 Million Navy
Contract to Support Integrated Voice Communication System
at Dahlgren
ARLINGTON, VA (April 13, 2010) – Engineering Services
Network Inc. (ESN), a trusted leader in engineering and technology
solutions, announced today it has won a SeaPort Task Order
worth up to $8.8 million at the Naval Surface Warfare Center,
Dahlgren Division in Virginia.
The U.S. Navy awarded ESN, a service-disabled veteran-owned
small business, the contract in January for one base year,
at $1.4 million, with four one-year options. The total contract
is worth $8.8 million, if all options are exercised through
2015.

ESN performs engineering, IT and business consulting services
for the U.S. military, Veterans Affairs, and other federal
agencies.
Under the contract, ESN will provide program and acquisition
management and technical field support for the Navy’s
Integrated Voice Communication System (IVCS) Program Office.
The IVCS is a shipboard voice distribution system providing
tactical communications throughout several naval ship platforms,
including DDG51 Class AEGIS Destroyers, CG47 Ticonderoga
Class AEGIS Cruisers, aircraft carriers, submarines and amphibious
transport platforms.
ESN’s work includes budget planning and execution, resource
planning and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) management.
In addition, ESN will provide field support, including serving
as the Lead Technical Field Representative for Interior Voice
Communications Systems during ship construction and overhaul
periods, and providing 24/7 hotline response to all actively
deployed Navy AN/STC-2, MarCom and SHINCOM systems.
ESN’s team, which has more than 50 years of experience
in IVCS support, also will provide program management and technical
engineering support services to the Naval Sea Systems Command
(NAVSEA) Interior Communications Program Office.
