ESN Named to the Hispanic
Business 500
ARLINGTON, VA – Engineering Services Network Inc. (ESN),
a trusted leader in engineering and technology solutions
based in Arlington, VA, was named to the 2007 Hispanic Business
500.
ESN, a service-disabled, veteran-owned company, ranked No.
243 on the annual list, which is the benchmark guide to the
500 largest U.S. Latino-owned companies. Founded in 1995,
ESN broke into the Hispanic Business 500 with $21 million
in 2006 revenue and 170 employees.
ESN stands shoulder to shoulder with its military and government
customers, delivering critical services in engineering and
technical support, strategic and program management, testing
and evaluation, operations support and information technology.
“I’m amazed that ESN made the list. How inspiring
it is when you are fortunate enough to live in a country that
affords you the opportunity to be eligible to qualify for such

The Hispanic Business 500 is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
In 1982, Hispanic Business magazine was looking for an indicator
of the growth and maturity of the Hispanic marketplace in the
United States. Previously, other business media largely ignored
this sector. Thus was born the list of the 500 biggest companies.
When it started, the list included 400 companies with total
revenues of $3.71 billion. Also, more than one-quarter of the
companies were from California, followed by Texas and Florida.
Today, the list boasts 500 companies with total revenues of
$36.6 billion. The most represented states are Florida, with
125 companies, followed by California (104) and Texas (74).
To qualify for the list, companies must be Hispanic-owned
and show revenues of more than $5 million. ESN is one of 63
companies that are new to the list.
