ESN Names Groh VP of Federal Outsourcing

ARLINGTON, VA (Sept. 27, 2007) – Engineering Services Network Inc. (ESN), a trusted leader in engineering and technology solutions based in Arlington, VA, has named Denny Groh as vice president of federal outsourcing.

Groh brings more than 35 years of experience in managing acquisition and information technology resources in the public and private sectors to ESN, a service-disabled, veteran-owned company. Groh started his new role with ESN this month, working at the company’s Arlington headquarters.

“We at ESN welcome Denny Groh. His depth of experience in the federal government will further enhance our partnerships with our customers,” ESN President and CEO Raymond F. Lopez Jr. said. “His expertise in management and support services will be a great addition to the ESN team in our commitment to provide our customers with innovative solutions to their mission-critical needs.”

ESN stands shoulder to shoulder with its military and government customers, delivering critical services in engineering and technical support, strategic and program management, testing and evaluation, operations support and information technology.

“Denny’s breadth of experience in the federal government will further enhance our partnerships with our customers,” Lopez said. “In his new role, he will help marshal ESN’s expertise in IT, engineering and scientific services to promptly develop and implement reliable technologies to achieve our customers’ goals.”

In his new position, Groh will help generate business development initiatives and opportunities to lead ESN toward achieving its business growth goals and objectives.

Before joining ESN, Groh was executive director of business development for federal civilian programs at RS Information Systems in McLean, VA., where he was instrumental in positioning RSIS to win the highly coveted Alliant contract vehicle valued at more than $50 billion dollars. Previously, Groh was an Assistant Commissioner at the General Services Administration, responsible for its Office of Service Delivery, Federal Technology Services. There, he managed multi-billion dollar contracts providing telecommunications services to federal agencies.

“I’m thrilled with the opportunity to work with top-notch professionals at ESN as we build and strengthen our customer relationships,” Groh said. Groh’s background includes senior-level management posts at STG Inc., Siemens, Computer Sciences Corp. and Boeing Corp. His government experience includes posts at the Department of Treasury, Farmers Home Administration and U.S. Air Force Military Airlift Command.

Groh was recognized by the GSA for his leadership after the Sept. 11 attacks in restoring telecommunications and reconnecting displaced federal employees from the World Trade Center so they could perform their mission-critical duties. Also, he won the Department of Defense’s Gold Nugget Award, Meritorious Executive Award and Distinguished Civilian Service Award.

Groh received a bachelor’s degree from McKendree University and a master’s degree from Webster University.
