ESN Awarded Army IDIQ Contract for Information Technology Solutions - Small Business

Arlington, VA (October 7, 2011) – Engineering Services Network Inc. (ESN), Engineering Services Network Inc. (ESN), an engineering and technology solutions company that provides services to DoD and other federal agencies, announced today that it was selected as one of 16 awardees to compete for task orders under the Army IDIQ Contract on Information Technology Solutions-Small Business (ITS-SB).

The period of performance is for three base years, with one two year option. The IDIQ has an overall ceiling value of $400 million to the 16 awardees.

In selecting ESN, the Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), in coordination with the Army Contracting Command National Capital Region (ACC/NCR), was seeking qualified contractors to support the Army enterprise infrastructure and infostructure goals with information technology (IT) services within CONUS.

“The ITS-SB contract vehicle represents an opportunity for ESN to provide well-managed end-to-end solutions to the Army as a proven contractor with proven business systems, well-established capabilities, and first-rate resources that will provide value from Day One,” said Raymond F. Lopez Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of ESN.

Under the contract, vendors will transform to a single Army Network/Army Enterprise Infostructure (AEI). The ITS-SB scope will include a range of services and solutions necessary for the Army to satisfy its support of the Army enterprise infrastructure and infostructure goals with information technology (IT) services within CONUS. http://www.esncc.com/contracts/ITS-SB/index.htm

ITS-SB offers services-based solutions under which contractors may be required to provide a full range of IT equipment. End-to-end solutions are included to satisfy CONUS development, deployment, operation, maintenance, and sustainment requirements. Additionally included is support to analyze requirements, develop and implement recommended solutions, and operate and maintain legacy systems and equipment.

Specific details of task assignments, deliverables, documentation, training, applicable government/department/industry standards, etc., will be provided within individual task orders.

“Team ESN has committed a number of skilled resources to this initiative,” said Denny Groh, ESN’s Vice President of Federal Outsourcing. “This contract vehicle represents an opportunity for this ‘best-in-class’ team to promote small business capabilities and to provide a well-managed, cost-effective solution for integrating emerging technologies with legacy, current and proposed systems.”

“ESN’s ITS-SB Program Management Office (PMO) will provide agile leadership to meet the ITS-SB requirements and help move the Army into the future,” Lopez said.
