Department of Navy (DON) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs Recognize Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN) for Exceptional Performance in Support of Key Program Events

ARLINGTON, VA – Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN), a leading engineering and IT solutions company based in Woodbridge, VA, employees were recently recognized for support in key program events. 

 On behalf of the DON SBIR/STTR programs, Mr. Robert “Bob” Smith recognized an ESN team for its exceptional performance in support of recent key program events. He expressed his sincere appreciation to the dedicated and committed ESN team for their planning and execution of the annual Partnering Summit and a workshop for Accelerated Delivery and Acquisition of Prototype Technologies (ADAPT), a small business technology development pilot effort from the Office of Naval Research. 

Mr. Smith noted a job well done to the entire ESN team— Mrs. Kathy Fontana, Mr. Brian Shipley, Ms. Camille Piazza, Mr. Antonio Rodriguez, Ms. Megan Stokes, and Mrs. Peggy Walker—for their professionalism, dedication, and sustained superior performance. He added that each of them is a critical and valued member of the DON SBIR/STTR team.  Mr. Smith’s heartfelt praise was extended to Ms. Piazza and Mrs. Stokes for their attention to detail in the development of the out of cycle Broad Agency Announcement language in support of ADAPT. Most importantly, Mr. Smith acknowledged Mr. Shipley as “indispensable” for his dedication and performance in support of the Partnering Summit.
