ESN to Showcase Information Technology Solutions in Booth #129 at TechNet Land Forces Southwest - Network And Security Operations Trade Show, March 27-29, Tucson, AZ Convention Center

ARLINGTON, VA (March 27,) – Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN), an engineering and technology solutions company that provides services to DoD and other federal agencies, will showcase its information technology solutions in Booth #129 at the TechNet Land Forces Southwest – Network and Security Operations Trade Show, March 27-29, at the Tucson, AZ Convention Center.

The conference, TechNet Land Forces — Southwest 2012 is titled “Operating and Defending the Cyberspace: Tomorrow's Playbook.”

The TechNet Land Forces conference series recently evolved from and replaces the annual LandWarNet Conference. The purpose is to provide a forum for the Army and Marine Corps, as well as the Department of Defense, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard security forces, to discuss issues and share ideas for solutions. Conference officials said each event will have a different regional and operational focus, including network and security operations at the Tucson event.

ESN is a small, disadvantaged, service-disabled veteran-owned business that delivers trusted solutions that support our nation’s defense. For more than a decade, ESN has been providing military and government customers with mission-critical services in professional management and systems engineering, cyber security and information/mission assurance, network design, integration and consolidation, enterprise IT ITL and ITSM, health IT, systems development and life-cycle, and acquisition. On hand at the trade show from ESN will be Jim Hunt, Executive Director of ESN’s Air-Land Division; Randy Blankenship from ESN’s San Diego office; Business Development Manager Shannon Lucero-Benson; and ITS-SB Project Manager Kimberly Matthews.

“Keeping our nation secure has moved beyond physical structures to our ‘cyber borders’ – that means our computer networks and information infrastructure,” said Denny Groh, ESN’s Chief Marketing Officer and Sr. Vice President of Business Development. “Those are the new challenges of today as the threats our nation faces are multi-pronged. That’s why ESN is engaged in providing solutions to securing our cyber borders and infostructure.”

The overall theme of TechNet Land Forces Southwest is network security and operations, with a focus on the ground component of the Army and Marine Corps, including components of homeland security, industry, academia and border control. The theme of the first conference, “Operating and Defending the Cyberspace: Tomorrow’s Playbook,” focuses on an industry parallel with the DoD in the defense of cyberspace, impact of mobile communications on the battlefield and training tomorrow’s cyber warriors. Government, industry and academia speakers will address a broad range of topics and focus on the challenges of network security issues of today and training cyber warriors of tomorrow.

Based in Arlington, VA, ESN specializes in best-in-industry, program management, engineering, financial management and end-to-end IT solutions. Last year, ESN was selected as one of 16 awardees to compete for task orders under the Army IDIQ Contract on Information Technology Solutions-Small Business (ITS-SB). In selecting ESN, the Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), in coordination with the Army Contracting Command National Capital Region (ACC/NCR), was seeking qualified contractors to support the Army enterprise infrastructure and infostructure goals with information technology (IT) services within CONUS.

Under the contract, vendors will transform to a single Army Network/Army Enterprise Infostructure (AEI). The ITS-SB scope will include a range of services and solutions necessary for the Army to satisfy its support of the Army enterprise infrastructure and infostructure goals with information technology (IT) services within CONUS.

ITS-SB offers services-based solutions under which contractors may be required to provide a full range of IT equipment. End-to-end solutions are included to satisfy CONUS development, deployment, operation, maintenance and sustainment requirements. Also included is support to analyze requirements, develop and implement recommended solutions, and operate and maintain legacy systems and equipment.

“Network security is critical to our nation security,” said Raymond F. Lopez Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of ESN. “To that end, ESN stands ready to serve our nation and its cyber warriors.”
